How many browser tabs do you open just to finish working on a Markdown document?

I used to find myself searching for different utilities whenever I needed to do something small.

Convert HTML to Markdown. Generate a README. Format a table. Compare two documents. Create a changelog. Export something to PDF.

Each task seemed simple enough, but finding the right tool every time was getting frustrating.

So I decided to build something to bring these utilities together.

Meet MarkdownKite.

Why I'm sharing it

I'm building MarkdownKite as a practical developer toolbox, not just another collection of random online utilities.

There are plenty of things I'd like to improve, and feedback from actual users would help me decide what deserves attention next.

If you work with Markdown regularly, give it a try:

Question for developers: What's one Markdown or documentation task you still have to use a separate website for?

I'd love to hear about it.
