My day job is partly finops and vendor management. The thing I hate most: a vendor retires a model, a runtime or a plan, the notice goes to some billing inbox nobody reads, and we find out when the build fails or the invoice comes.

So I started to keep a list. Every row comes from the vendor's own page (docs, changelog, deprecation table), with the date and the first thing to do. Here is everything with a date between now and December 31, 2026 - 49 changes at 18 vendors.

⛔ = shutdown, nothing to move to inside the product. 💸 = you pay more if you do nothing. Everything else: change something and you can stay.

October 2026

November 2026

How this list is made

  • Only vendor pages count as sources: deprecation tables, changelogs, docs, official blog posts. If the vendor gives only a month or "or later", it's not on the list.
  • Each link goes to a page with all the dates, the steps, what you will see after the date (when the vendor says it) and the sources.
  • The full list, with early 2027 too, is here and updates itself as dates pass: Big vendor deadlines, Q4 2026. There are calendar feeds per vendor (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, OpenAI, GitHub…) if you want these dates in your calendar.

If I missed something or got a date wrong, tell me in the comments with the vendor link and I'll fix it.
