A resource card can look polished while every link says “Open”. Give each destination a useful visible label before adding decoration.

MDN’s anchor reference explains that an anchor with href creates a hyperlink and its content should identify the destination.

<ul> <li><a href="https://example.com/tools/">Analysis tools directory</a></li> <li><a href="https://example.com/health/">Health topic archive</a></li> <li><a href="https://example.com/poets/">Poets directory</a></li> </ul>

Quick manual check:

  1. Read the link labels without the surrounding paragraphs.
  2. Tab to each link and activate it with Enter.
  3. Compare the destination page with what its label promised.

A label review alone does not certify accessibility, medical accuracy or the quality of an analysis tool. Check those separately.

I maintain AGProLabs, including Crypto Setup Planner. The same navigation question applies to my health categories directory and family poets directory: can a reader tell what opens?
