What advise or suggestions would you give someone who obtained a bachelors in Information Technology about 6 years ago. Worked in a totally non technical field after that degree till date.
Currently trying to get back into the tech space but the AI boom makes everything feel overwhelming.
Feels very difficult to pick a niche to work towards as most areas are advertised to be gradually taken over by AI. Not to mention the layoffs.
If you would give a suggestion of a direction or job area to take that you know is employable but isn't talked about enough would be great.
I understand this request might be broad without a specific area but I need the various options possible without limiting myself into a box at this crucial stage when I don't really know what is possible or out there.
