Introducing Blank — a lightweight Rust web framework
Hey everyone!
I've just published the first version of Blank, a web framework written in Rust.
Blank takes a different approach to web development in Rust. Its goal is simple: make creating web servers straightforward while keeping the framework lightweight.
One of its interesting aspects is that it doesn't depend on Tokio. Instead, Blank implements its own lightweight Future executor.
Here's what using Blank looks like:
use blank::Blank; fn main() { let mut server = Blank::new(); server.route_func("/", |_rq, out| { out.text("Hello, world!"); }); server.serve().unwrap(); } No complicated setup. Just create a server, register a route, and serve!

The project is currently at v0.1.0, with CI testing on Linux, Windows and macOS.
I'd love to hear what other Rust developers think, especially about the API design, implementation and areas worth improving.
Even criticism is appreciated!
Thanks!
