Hi everyone.
I built Coppice because running several coding agents in separate terminals made me a worse reviewer, not a faster one. I kept losing track of what each agent was doing, and mistakes landed before I saw them.
Coppice is a local desktop app with a board that drives the CLI agents you already use: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and so on. You act as the manager. Nothing starts without you.
There are two human gates:
- First, you write a ticket or approve one an agent suggests, and your PM agent drafts a plan. You approve it in Plan Review, and Coppice holds the ticket there until you say yes.
- Second, every diff waits in an in-app diff editor. Your comments go back to the agent. Accept doesn’t merge. Merge is a separate a ction.
It runs on your machine with a bundled database. No Coppice account, no second subscription.
