Parallel coding agents are easy to start and hard to finish cleanly. The usual failure mode: each model invents its own "done," and the human only sees a pile of chats.

A workflow that has been holding up for me:

  1. Keep the discussion tied to one shared goal
  2. Split coding tasks from that goal
  3. Run independent checks as a separate step
  4. Require explicit approval before updating main
  5. Export source as a ZIP when you need the files outside the session

Brainstorm is a BYOK shell for that path — your own eligible model accounts, no model credits sold with the license. Linux 1.0.1 has release evidence; Windows remains preview.
