My journey into tech: from traffic manager to future developer
0 views

Hey, dev.to! 👋
I'm Maycon, a Systems Analysis and Development student at UNICID, currently making a career shift: I come from a background in customer service, sales and paid traffic management, and now I'm diving headfirst into programming.
Over the past few months I completed 30+ courses and hands-on projects (DIO and Santander Open Academy), focusing on Git & GitHub, Python, and AI-assisted automation (Claude Code, GPT Agents, GitHub Copilot). I also got my hands dirty with a few real projects:
🚗 Porsche Dashboard — a BI panel with KPIs and interactive charts, built with the help of AI Agents
📸 Photo Book Creator — a digital memory album with shareable access codes and Stripe-powered payments
🛒 Amazônia Force — a full e-commerce site with catalog, cart and login
🗂️ Customer Registration System — a Python + SQLite CRUD app
I'm here to learn from the community, share what I'm building, and hopefully land my first opportunity as a dev soon. Let's connect! 🚀
