Launching a token used to mean copying a contract, setting up a dev environment and hoping you got the constructor arguments right. If you just want a plain, fixed-supply token for a community, a game or an experiment, there's a simpler route: deploy it straight from your own wallet through a launch page.
This walkthrough uses the launch page on Craic Hub Exchange. Token launches are live on 8 chains: Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism and Avalanche.
Before you start
- A wallet you control. MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust, OKX or Ledger for the EVM chains; Phantom for Solana.
- A little of the chain's gas token. On EVM chains your own wallet deploys the contract, so you pay the network gas. Base, Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon are usually far cheaper than Ethereum mainnet.
- Your token details decided up front: name, ticker, logo and total supply. A fixed-supply token can't be minted later, so pick the supply carefully.
Step by step
- Open the launch page and connect your wallet. There's no account or email sign-up.
- Pick the chain you want to launch on.
- Enter the name, ticker, logo and supply.
- Review everything, then approve the transaction once in your wallet. Your wallet signs and deploys the token; the site never holds your keys or your coins.
- Copy the new contract address from the confirmation and check it on the chain's block explorer (Basescan, Etherscan, BscScan and so on).
If you get stuck, the "Show me how" guide on the page walks through each step.
After launch: a quick checklist
- Verify on the explorer. Check the total supply and that the deployer is your address.
- Publish the contract address yourself on your own channels, so people can't be fooled by copycat tokens with the same name.
- List it. Listing a token on Craic Hub Exchange is free.
- Be honest with your community. A token is a tool, not a promise. Don't make price or return claims.
A note on the exchange's own coin
Craic Coin ($CRAIC) is the native coin of the exchange. Pay in $CRAIC for 25% off launch and listing fees. Fees paid in $CRAIC are burned. It's on pump.fun and now on DEXTools. This is not financial advice: do your own research.
Wrapping up
For a simple community or test token, deploying from your own wallet keeps you in control: you sign, you pay the gas, you own the contract. Questions or feedback on the launch flow are welcome in the comments.
