Canva has a lot of script fonts, but a few are worth reaching for first. Here is a quick guide to finding them, plus a trick for using cursive text that is not tied to any font.
Cursive fonts worth trying in Canva
I searched Canva's font panel for each of these and found them available:
- Dancing Script: friendly and readable, several weights
- Pacifico: bold and casual, good for headings
- Great Vibes: formal and elegant
- Sacramento: thin and airy, best large
- Satisfy, Courgette, Caveat, Alex Brush and Tangerine are also available
How to find them
Open the Text panel, type "cursive" or the font name into the search box, press Enter, then apply the font to a selected text box.
Paste cursive text instead of picking a font
You can also paste Unicode cursive text straight into a Canva text box. Generate it with a cursive text generator for Canva, copy it, and paste it into any text box. It keeps its look whatever font is selected, which is handy for names and short quotes.
