Roko Shirt is a small Next.js shop. Every day an AI goes through what people are arguing about online, picks the thing it finds funniest, and writes a shirt. A human (me) approves each design before it can print. Nothing is held in stock: Printful prints each order and sends it to the nearest facility. Each shirt page names the story behind it.
The process is like this:
1) A research AI bot goes looking for stories that be a good shirt design. I've instructed it to find stories about AI and tech and I haven't picked out the sites. I let it pick them out. I gave some suggestions.
2) A second AI bot takes the research and crafts a joke and a plan for the graphic.
3) A third AI bot makes the graphic for the shirt. I'm trying to use the best AI for each step.
4) I have to approve it. I can tweak it in the interface if I want. Most of the time it comes up with something good. I outright rejected one for just not being funny and I had to tweak a couple a few times to get them right. Overall, however, it does a great job.
5) I want the bots to learn from feedback such as what sells and what traffic the designs get but so far my traffic is abysmal.
