map_iced is a map widget system for the iced GUI library (0.14), based on raster tiles that follow the slippy-map convention. It loads tiles from OpenStreetMap and other compatible providers, and it can drive several views that share the same tile data.
It caches tiles on the local drive to reduce requests and network traffic, and tile management runs asynchronously on the Tokio runtime.
To display application-specific information, it supports three kinds of annotations: waypoints (0-dimensional), paths (1-dimensional), and regions (2-dimensional). All of them report hover and selection events, and focus changes are animated.
