Moving between Claude Code and Google Antigravity 😊 exposes a practical hurdle: their extension formats do not match. Claude uses CLAUDEmd and slash commands, while Antigravity expects SKILLmd folders with YAML frontmatter, rule mappings in AGENTSmd, and configs in ~/.gemini/.
Claugravity is an open-source local tool built to bridge that gap. It takes an existing Claude plugin repository or folder, converts the instruction structure, and places the assets directly into your native Antigravity environment.
A few notable details:
• Static security scans: Before activating any skill, it runs static checks inspired by NVIDIA Agent Skills guidelines. It flags risky shell patterns (such as piped curl commands) and exposed API credentials left in prompts.
• Conflict handling: Identifies duplicate skills across built-in and external directories so you can clean up collisions.
• Management: Offers both a terminal CLI and a local web dashboard running at localhost:4321.
• Compatibility: Works across Windows, macOS, and Linux for both the Antigravity desktop app and the IDE.
Keep in mind that Antigravity only reads its configuration on startup, so you need to restart the app after installing or updating packages.
