Observation of critical topological phase transition

Using an acoustic metamaterial platform, a critical topological phase transition is experimentally demonstrated establishing a hierarchical phase transition organization, in which topology shapes criticality beyond the conventional Landau–Ginzburg paradigm and standard topological phase transitions.
