Ever found a product you liked, only to spend another 20 minutes trying to figure out whether it's actually worth buying?
Searching for specifications. Comparing alternatives. Looking for useful product information. Trying to understand what you're really getting.
I think finding useful products should be a lot more straightforward.
That's why I started DigitalMarketBase.
It's a marketplace built around a simple idea: make discovering and choosing everyday products easier.
From home and kitchen essentials to electronics, tools, and personal care, DigitalMarketBase brings practical products together in one place, with an emphasis on clear information and useful buying guidance.
But I don't want to build just another online store.
I want to build something that makes the experience of finding the right product less confusing and more useful.
Here's what I'm working on:
Product discovery: Explore practical products across everyday categories.
Clearer information: Find product specifications, descriptions, and pricing to help make informed decisions.
Buying guides: Get useful information before making a purchase.
A broader shopping experience: Exploring additional ways for people to access and make use of products as the platform develops.
I'm still building, improving, and figuring out what would make this genuinely useful.
And that's where I'd love your input.
What's one thing you wish every online shopping website did better?
Better product comparisons? More reliable information? Easier discovery? Something else entirely?
I'd genuinely like to hear from people who shop online and people who build products for the web.
