Hey there! I'm Rafa, founder of Duckity.
Have you ever been stopped by "prove you're a human" before logging in, signing up, or sending a friend request? Your users have too, and it sucks. Duckity allows you to define what good behavior looks like instead, and deters any activity going against that with invisible CPU work and temporary freezes that slow down malicious activity.
You get - Completely invisible protection, - Silk-smooth UX, - Way more powerful customization of its behavior, - To ditch captchas!
Bots = bad, humans = good doesn't hold up anymore. People use AI agents to do things on their behalf, and they shouldn't be treated as adversarial. Meanwhile, is spam any good as long as it's human-made?
Also, Duckity is backed by a cryptography primitive called a VDF. Since crypto is cross-platform, so is Duckity! If you have a native app, it's a great moment to bring login flows in-app while staying protected. I'm using it on my package manager, which lets me sign up and log in users directly from the terminal.
I'm still working on it a lot, and I made sure to write good docs to help you get started. Any feedback, tips, or info is really useful and more than welcome.
