I’ve got a concern: whenever you talk to colleagues or other people, and the subject of Rust comes up, they always say it’s a very poor language, and that I’d be better off learning C or C++ because those languages still dominate the industry. I’m not sure if that’s true. I’m learning Rust because I really like it – the way it manages memory – although I’ve noticed recently that the learning curve gets steeper the further you go, but it’s still great fun to read, write code and learn.

What do you think? In what other fields can the language be used? Many thanks.
