Job boards repost, duplicate and keep expired listings. The cleanest source for who is hiring is the company's own careers page, and most companies run it on one of a handful of job board systems: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, Recruitee, Personio or Teamtailor. So I built a small tool on Apify that reads those boards directly.

Here is one real run: engineering jobs at seven AI companies.

The input

You can paste a careers link, the company's website, or just its name. The tool finds the right board and says how it found it, so nothing is guessed.

{ "companies": [ "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai", "https://job-boards.greenhouse.io/anthropic", "perplexity.ai", "ElevenLabs", "https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/cohere", "https://jobs.lever.co/mistral", "huggingface.co" ], "titleKeywords": ["engineer"] }

The run took 9 seconds and saved 691 open jobs.

Who is hiring

  • OpenAI: 356 engineering jobs
  • Anthropic: 209
  • Perplexity 46, ElevenLabs 41, Cohere 34, Hugging Face 5
  • Mistral's board had no open jobs that day

What they pay

497 of the 691 jobs publish a yearly salary range in US dollars. Take the middle of each range, and half of them are above $355,500 a year.

Where

483 of the jobs (about 7 in 10) are in the United States. The rest are spread across 20 other countries.

Following hiring over time

Give the run a watch name and schedule it. The first run saves every job as a starting point; after that, each run saves only the jobs that are new, and lists the ones that closed in a separate table.

I tried it on 25 tech companies with 7,492 open jobs between them. Checked again five hours later (on a Saturday), the next run found 1 new job (a senior engineer at Cloudflare) and 1 that closed (a compliance role at Stripe). Small, but that is the point: a daily check returns only what changed.

$1 per 1,000 jobs plus $2 per 1,000 companies, less on paid Apify plans: the run above costs about $0.70. Export to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets, or call it from your own code or an AI agent through Apify's MCP server.
