Modern Software Is Broken.
Every modern blockchain, framework, and distributed system today is a ticking time bomb built on a tower of 5,000+ unverified third-party dependencies.
One compromised crate, one broken supply chain, and billions of dollars evaporate.
While everyone else was building wrappers around bloated frameworks, I made a radical decision.
As a 16-year-old systems developer, I spent the last few months engineering Wortex Mainnet (wortex-eta.app)—a zero-dependency, pure Rust Layer-1 infrastructure featuring a browser-native PWA light node simulator.
🛠️ The Architecture: Pure Math, Zero Bloat
We didn't use convenient shortcut libraries. We built the low-level logic from the bare metal up.
1. Zero External Dependencies
By stripping out third-party crates, we eliminated supply-chain vulnerability vectors entirely. The binary is hyper-lightweight, memory-safe, and totally deterministic.
2. Browser-Native Light Nodes (PWA)
Why force users to run heavy, complex native setups? We compiled our execution node state directly for Progressive Web App (PWA) environments, turning any browser into a functional light node validator.
3. Maximum Engine Throughput
Pure Rust gives us bare-metal speed, exact memory control, and zero garbage-collection overhead.
⚡ Why Building in Public Matters
The next decade of sovereign tech won't belong to corporate boardrooms or bloated crypto foundations. It belongs to lean, radical, math-driven architecture.
We are opening Wortex Mainnet to global developers, systems architects, and security auditors.

💬 Question for Systems Engineers:
When building high-throughput infrastructure, at what point do you draw the line between ecosystem convenience (crates) and bare-metal security (custom logic)?
