Inspiration As decentralized networks scale toward millions of nodes, trusting the mathematical and cryptographic integrity of aggregation paths becomes non-negotiable. Sovereign-Mohawk-Proto (Mobile Offloading Heterogeneous Adaptive Weight for Knowledge) was built to bridge this gap—combining high-performance decentralized runtime layers with machine-checked Lean 4 formal verification artifacts. But writing proofs is only half the battle; validating them under adversarial real-world conditions requires rigorous, community-driven peer review. What It Does Sovereign-Mohawk-Proto is a 4-tier decentralized federated learning runtime featuring: Machine-Checked Formal Verification: Core cryptographic components and protocol assumptions backed by Lean 4 specifications.
Post-Quantum & Cryptographic Primitives: Hybrid key exchanges, Ed25519 signature models, and MiMC zero-knowledge circuits integrated into Go and Rust runtimes.
Byzantine Robustness & Privacy: Multi-Krum aggregation paths and Rényi Differential Privacy (RDP) accounting for distributed nodes.
The Hunt for External Audit & Open Issues To transition from a theoretical framework to battle-tested infrastructure, we have officially opened an External Audit Hunt. We've published our initial wave of open audit issues directly on GitHub to invite formal reviewers, distributed systems engineers, and cryptography specialists to break, test, and refine our code: Review: Claim accuracy (README/ROADMAP vs actual theorems) (#251): Cross-examining high-level architectural claims against concrete implementations and theorem statements.
Review: Convergence / straggler refinement bridges (#250): Auditing asynchronous update flows and straggler handling logic.
Review: MiMC circuit <-> Go verifier refinement + MPC setup (#249): Inspecting ZK circuit bindings and multi-party computation verification paths.
Review: Ed25519 UF-CMA model soundness (#248): Validating unforgeability assumptions under chosen-message attacks.
Review: DiscreteLogReduction.lean + Forking Lemma core (#247): Deep-dive formal verification review of core cryptographic reduction proofs.
How to Contribute / Get Involved If you are a formal verification expert, cryptographer, or systems engineer interested in stress-testing decentralized runtimes, head over to the Sovereign-Mohawk-Proto Issues Page to claim an audit task, review open pull requests, or submit findings.
Let's build verifiable, transparent infrastructure together!
