| Hey everyone, A little over a year ago I posted Gitea Mirror here, a web app that mirrors your GitHub repos into a self-hosted Gitea. It had 100 stars. It has 1,400 now, and most of what shipped since came out of issues people from this sub opened. Thank you, genuinely. What landed in the last few releases: - Sources: GitHub, GitLab (beta) and Gitea / Forgejo, which covers Codeberg. Code, branches, tags, wiki and LFS from all of them. - Destinations: Gitea, Forgejo, and now GitHub and GitLab (beta). Those two have no pull mirror API, so the app keeps a bare clone and pushes branches and tags. - Move mirrors between orgs from the app. Change a repo or org destination and it transfers the mirror on Gitea with history and issues. Nothing duplicated, nothing deleted. - Reconcile: compares what Gitea holds with what the app knows, adopts mirrors it did not create, and finds ones you moved by hand. - API keys for adding mirrors from CI or scripts, a Helm chart on ghcr.io, per repo overrides, release asset limits. Since the first post it also grew SSO/OIDC, notifications (ntfy, Gotify, Apprise, webhooks), force push protection, and PR, release and wiki mirroring. Where I need help: the GitLab source and the GitHub/GitLab destinations are beta. The mirror move shipped this week and has only been run against Gitea's API in tests, so back up your database and your Gitea before trying it. If something breaks, an issue with the activity log attached is the fastest route to a fix. GitHub: https://github.com/RayLabsHQ/gitea-mirror Docs: https://gitea-mirror.raylabs.io What is missing for your setup? Multiple destinations per repo is the open request right now. [link] [留言] |
