Hey everyone,
I noticed a lot of developers prefer a clean, dark aesthetic for their personal sites, while recruiters often prefer reading traditional light layouts.
To bridge the gap, I built a professional resume and portfolio template using Bootstrap 5 that features a seamless, native Light and Dark mode toggle built right into the header. It includes a clean timeline layout, interactive grids for projects, and zero bloat so it passes Google Lighthouse speeds with flying colors.
You can check out the live preview and test the toggle here: [https://brandon-demo.bss.design/template.html]
If you just need a simple single-page setup to build upon, I've open-sourced a Lite version on GitHub: [https://github.com/abubakar5553/dark-bootstrap-resume-template]
For anyone looking for the full premium version (with detailed project case studies, custom interactive components, and clean documentation), I have it hosted on Gumroad for the price of a coffee.
Would love to get your feedback on the layout contrast and the toggle transition!
