Job data on the Apify Store comes from two kinds of tools: scrapers of a job board such as LinkedIn, and scrapers of employers' own career sites (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and the like). This post compares the most-used tools of each kind with the two I built, using the prices each Store page listed at the time of writing.
Disclosure: I'm Aurelix, and I built the LinkedIn Jobs Scraper and the Greenhouse Jobs Scraper. Check each Store page before you buy: prices change.
LinkedIn job scrapers
All three read LinkedIn's public job search without logging in and bill per job, with no platform usage on top.
| Aurelix LinkedIn Jobs Scraper | curious_coder/linkedin-jobs-scraper | valig/linkedin-jobs-scraper | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per 1,000 jobs, free plan | $1.50 | $2.00 | $0.40 |
| Price per 1,000 jobs, paid plans | $1.05 | $1.00 | $0.36 |
| Start fee per run | $0.00005 | $0.00005 per GB of memory | $0.001 ($0.0009 paid) |
| Country chosen by LinkedIn's exact country id | yes | manual geoId | city, state or zip text |
| Results naming another country dropped | yes | not stated | not stated |
| Job type and level re-checked on each job page | yes | no | no |
| Jobs dropped by your filters not charged | yes | not stated | not stated |
| Only new jobs for scheduled runs | yes | not stated | manual (skip job IDs) |
Where each wins: valig is the cheapest per job on every plan, by a wide margin. curious_coder has the most users and the longest track record, and is slightly cheaper than the Aurelix tool on paid plans. The Aurelix tool is the choice when you need one country's jobs and nothing else: it sets LinkedIn's exact country id for you, drops jobs whose location names another country, re-checks job type and level, and does not charge for the jobs it drops.
Career-site job scrapers
These read jobs straight from employers' applicant tracking systems.
| Aurelix Greenhouse Jobs Scraper | fantastic-jobs/career-site-job-listing-api | fantastic-jobs/career-site-job-listing-feed | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per 1,000 jobs, free plan | $1.50 | $12.00 | $2.50 |
| Price per 1,000 jobs, paid plans | $1.05 | $12.00 | $2.00 |
| Start fee per run | $0.00005 | $0.01 ($0.0001 paid) | $0.10 ($0.001 paid) |
| ATS platforms covered | 4 (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters) | 58 | 58 |
| Company domain in, its jobs out | yes, finds the board | domain filter (exact match) | domain filter (exact match) |
| Reads the employer's board live at run time | yes, official ATS APIs | not stated | not stated |
| Only jobs new since your last run | yes | time window (1h/24h/7d) | not stated |
Where each wins: Fantastic Jobs covers 58 applicant tracking systems, including Workday and iCIMS; if your target companies use those, it is the tool to use. The Aurelix tool is cheaper and reads each company's board live, so it fits when you track a known list of companies on the four systems it covers.
Getting the jobs out
All of these write to an Apify dataset: CSV or Excel from the Storage tab, Apify's Google Sheets integration, the n8n or Make "Run Actor" node, or an AI agent through the Apify MCP server. For a daily sheet of new postings, see Export new LinkedIn jobs to Google Sheets every day with Python.
